Komtrans+Busexpo and Eurasian Construction Technology 2025!

Industry’s key exhibitions’ opening ceremony at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana

The Komtrans Astana + BUSexpo Astana and Eurasian Construction Technology Astana 2025 exhibitions have officially opened at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana.

The events bring together 230 companies from Kazakhstan, China, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, presenting cutting-edge solutions tailored to the needs of the regional market.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Lastayev, delivered a welcome address. He emphasized the strategic importance of the sector and highlighted the role of the exhibition as a vital platform for international cooperation and technological advancement:

“Transport and logistics are strategic sectors that have become the backbone of the global economy. Kazakhstan places great priority on developing the Middle Corridor, the North–South route, and other international corridors. Events like this serve as important platforms where ideas turn into projects, and business partnerships become real agreements,” he noted.

Komtrans Astana + BUSexpo Astana is the region's largest platform dedicated to freight, commercial, and passenger transport. The exhibition unites key segments of the transportation industry in a B2B format, aiming to foster business interaction and partnerships. Its joint implementation with Eurasian Construction Technology Astana 2025 enhances cross-industry synergy by bringing together logistics, construction, and infrastructure topics.

Anuar Malik, Head of Business Media Central Asia and organizer of the event, remarked:

“This platform once again confirms its status as a magnet for advanced ideas, technologies, and business initiatives. Our exhibitions contribute to the country’s development, promote innovation, and strengthen international cooperation. We will continue to hold thematic exhibitions that meet market demand and support industry growth.”

The business program included discussions on topics such as:

“Interregional Logistics Corridors: Economic Impact and Financial Mechanisms”

“Transport Barriers in Central Asia and Digital Solutions”

“Year of Skilled Trades: Human Resources in the Transport Sector”

“Fleet Renewal in Kazakhstan: Financial Leasing, Government Support, and International Experience”

During one of the panel sessions, Nurlan Kulbatyrov, Managing Director of QazTrade – Center for Trade Policy Development JSC, emphasized that developing a network of border hubs is not only a way to boost mutual trade, but also an effective tool for simplifying logistics chains. Such initiatives strengthen Kazakhstan’s role in transnational trade corridors and elevate production cooperation with neighboring countries to a new level.

The exhibition features freight vehicles, buses, specialized construction site machinery, telematics systems, and automotive service equipment, as well as practical solutions for fleet renewal, logistics optimization, and localization of production.

Particular attention is drawn to foreign participants — major companies interested in expanding manufacturing cooperation with Kazakhstan. Enterprises from China, Turkey, and Uzbekistan see Kazakhstan as a strategic hub for entering the Central Asian market.

Michael Johannes, Vice President of Messe Frankfurt, highlighted:

“Bringing together multiple sectors under one exhibition is no coincidence. This integrated format aligns perfectly with Kazakhstan’s course toward developing its logistics potential. As President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized, efficient logistics organization is a key driver in strengthening the country’s role as a hub of Central Asia. We are always ready to support this path through international partnerships.”

The exhibition is organized by Business Media Central Asia (Kazakhstan) with the support of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Construction, and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
